Who we are

We prioritize excellent customer service, attention to detail, and meeting all your future needs. With a history of satisfied clients and numerous references, we offer more than just competitive pricing—when you choose Alta, you gain a dedicated team and trusted partner.

  • Reducing Material Waste

Attention to detail is key to minimizing waste. By improving efficiency in every area, we can significantly reduce material waste, saving both money and resources. Waste is inevitable, but by identifying and addressing inefficiencies, we save substantially over time. These savings compound year after year, making waste reduction a critical part of our approach.

    Eliminating Wasted Time

From hiring practices to payroll distribution, we've streamlined operations to improve efficiency. By leveraging technology and innovation, we reduce task times, lower costs for customers, and stay competitive. We're constantly refining our processes to deliver more value at a lower cost.

    Operations vs. Completions

Unlike most drywall companies that use small crews for each project, Alta employs an "operations" model, specializing workers in specific tasks for better efficiency and consistency. This approach reduces the need for excessive tools and equipment, ensures higher-quality results, and minimizes safety risks by limiting high-risk work to skilled crews. By investing in ongoing training and specialization, we ensure a superior product with fewer variables, even during peak demand.

  • Alta Drywall is a recognized Golden Gate Partner with Cal/OSHA, prioritizing employee safety in all operations. We enforce strict safety protocols, including mandatory hardhats, work boots, and eye protection where needed. Our managers conduct daily field inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Safety is reinforced through ongoing training, bilingual videos, jobsite signs, and written manuals. We hold weekly Tailgate meetings, and all Foremen and Superintendents receive CPR and First Aid training every two years. Supervisors are equipped with updated safety materials in both Spanish and English. At Alta, our goal is for every employee to go home safe, happy, and healthy.

  • In an industry with limited training, Alta Drywall is committed to developing a skilled workforce through ongoing initiatives, including:

    • New-Hire Orientations

    • Specific Skills and Quality Control Training

    • Written Job Descriptions

    • Language and Safety Training

    • Clear Path Processes

From day one, every Alta employee wears required workplace attire and PPE, and receives comprehensive safety training during orientation. This is followed by continuous learning, ensuring our team delivers top-quality work and service on every job. At Alta, training never stops.

  • Jobsite cleanliness is a top priority at Alta Drywall. Our employees are trained to eat only in designated areas, properly dispose of lunch trash, and keep drywall debris contained until removal to avoid SWPPP violations. Usable materials, like mud, nails, and tape, are moved to the next units to minimize waste.

  • Alta Drywall is fully committed to SWPPP compliance. All employees receive ongoing training on erosion control, washout pits, and jobsite cleanliness. We have a dedicated team member who inspects projects before they begin to ensure proper infrastructure and wash pit placement, addressing any issues to prevent SWPPP violations. This individual also conducts routine site visits throughout the project. Our management, subcontractors, and material delivery teams remain vigilant, and our SOPs emphasize the importance of compliance with these critical environmental standards.
